Meet JayDe

I know I haven't been on in a long time, but I have been getting aquainted with the newest member of our family. He was born June 24, 2009 at 5:57pm. He weighed in at 7lbs. 4oz. and was 21 inches long. I ended up having to have a c-section. Since I was recovering very fast we got to go home in 2-3 days. I absolutely love being a mother. It is the greatest thing in the world. Just imagine growing a life inside of you for 9 months and then you go to the hospital and in the delivery room you see your beautiful baby boy for the first time. I could not believe my eyes and then I got to give him the first kiss he has ever recieved. My mother-in-law who's a nurse was in there and it felt great to know that she was there to watch over us. When I got out of the operating room they took me by the nursery before I went to recovery. I got to see JayDe and his daddy (the love of my life). My family was there (which includes all of our friends) the only person who was not there was my dad :(, but he will get special time with his grandson when he comes for my sister (Ambers wedding). Everyday I watch Jay and see different things he does. He is rolling over, smiling and giggling. He has such a personality just like his daddy. He now weighs 9lbs. 8oz. and is 23 inches long.

29 weeks

I am now at 29 weeks and 1 day. We have Jay's room painted and his bed and dresser put together. I will post pictures of his room when we are totally done.

Update on our little man...

Well let's see. He is doing great the way that I can tell is that he kicks me every few minutes (lol I love it). The one thing he loves to do is sit on my sciatic nerve. I am now 6 months pregnant and cannot wait we only have 12 weeks till he comes into the world.
My sister is throwing me a baby shower. Which Scott's family and My parents are going to attend.
I feel really bad that my parents have not gotten to see me, but it will be great to have them here considering they only come to the states once a year and hopefully Scott, Jay and I will get to go over seas and visit them.
Currently we are studying very hard for our classes and have to find time to get Jay's room setup, but I have high hopes that over spring break we will get his room painted and the crib put together. I also want to baby proof the house, but we will see how much time we have.

IT'S A BOY

Today we went to the OBGYN and found out that we are having a little man. His name is JayDe Blane Robertson. We are so excited!!!! I went to Wal-mart with my sister and bought tons of baby clothes.

Our Bundle of Joy

We found out that we are expecting our first child on October 14, 2008 (Scott's B-Day). We are excited and cannot wait till we meet the new member of our family. We find out what the sex of the baby on Jan. 29, 2009.
